Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Associate Customer Operations Representative!

About the role

You will be processing changes to our in-force Life Insurance products. If you like processing information and providing customer service, please apply!

What you’ll do in this role

You will assist with a variety of inquiries, including status on pending new business applications and pending in-force transactions, assisting with specific in-force policy questions, product information, information on rates, and service issue resolution.

Requires a working knowledge of processes and procedures for New Business, Claims, and In-force Back Office, navigating multiple administrative systems.

Process and maintain department SLAs by processing basic transactions and servicing customer requests with a sense of urgency and accuracy.

Required to document detailed and concise notes on all interactions

Periodic outbound calls to assist with specified transactions and clarity.

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.00 to $25.71 plus annual incentive bonus
Your experience and skills

Associated degree or equivalent experience
Course work beyond that level preferred
Expert PC and keyboarding skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure within established timeframes.
High level attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to learn quickly and follow procedures using multiple PC and mainframe applications.
Ability to follow up with others on outstanding issues professionally and promptly.
Customer service and telephone experience preferred.
