Spoonflower is seeking a talented, driven Merchandising Specialist who strives for excellence and has a history of success. The role of a Merchandising Specialist is to support the strategic direction and product assortment within the Spoonflower brand. Candidates with experience in merchandising/category management at a consumer ecommerce company are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Content Management

landing pages & curated shopping funnels in-line with overarching merchandising strategy
Write briefs to request assets/copy from Creative Marketing
Implement assets for seasonal changes, occasion changes, and pricing/promotion changes (for home page, category pages, and third-party marketplace pages)
Execute all pricing and promotion changes, inclusive of list price, multiple currencies, and discount depth
Build a deep understanding and grasp of the Spoonflower product catalog and assortment
Assortment Curation

Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager to execute quarterly seasonal & trend-based curation from our vast design marketplace to identify featured products across categories.
Work cross-functionally to implement featured assortments across channels like 3rd Party Marketplaces & digital marketing feeds
Produce monthly Design Performance reports with actionable take-aways related to customer preferences and marketplace health
Product Launch Coordination

Work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners: Ecommerce, Product, Content, Marketing, and Creative teams in the successful launch of products & campaigns.
Help manage the launch of products on the platform following existing launch processes
Create Asana & Jira tickets to coordinate support of product launch, and request all relevant data points needed for new product (e.g., costs, pricing, set-up details)
Manage support tickets for all cross-functional teams’ input (e.g., design, photography requests marketing ops).
Site review and testing
Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of e-commerce merchandising experience at an assistant or associate level
Excellent attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Outstanding organization
Exhibits a bias towards action
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
Articulate, concise and professional written and verbal communications
Entrepreneurial with the understanding of true ownership of a business or category – ability to think quick and make pivots based on an evolving story
Passionate about art and design and cares deeply about facilitating success for our artist community
Excel, PPT experience required
Experience with headless ecommerce platforms such as CommerceTools preferred
SQL, Looker, and Google Analytics experience a bonus
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), and product catalogs

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$51,900-73,650]
Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$51,900-$67,400]
Colorado and Washington: [$51,900-$62,400]
Nevada: [$58,600-$67,400]
