As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health Solutions U.S. Broking practice at Aon.

Your Impact as a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant:
The Aon Health Solutions U.S. Broking team is dedicated to supporting the business through the centralization of transactions including requests for proposal (RFPs) and renewals related to coverages including Medical, Stop Loss, Life, Disability, Voluntary Benefits, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, and COBRA administration. This team works closely with carriers and local client teams to drive client value and thought leadership through a more focused and efficient broking model.
The Health Solutions Product Manager will support Aon’s broking delivery under the Health Solutions U.S. Broking practice. Liaises closely with local client teams, carriers, and broking center colleagues to drive positive client outcomes for requests for proposal (RFPs) and renewals.

What a day will look like:
Oversees renewal and RFP transactions on behalf of local client teams
Negotiates terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors on behalf of clients
Peer reviews renewal and RFP transactions for U.S. Broking colleagues
Works closely with supporting analysts, vendors and client teams to deliver client value through consistent deliverables
Consults as subject matter expert with U.S. Broking leadership and extended leadership to develop and drive the strategy and approach of U.S. Broking benefits
Subject matter expert to answer market trend and product questions from the field
Mentors and trains junior colleagues within broking
Skills and experience that will lead to success:

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
Benefit consulting or benefit management experience required
Strong project management discipline and experience leading projects independently
Professional approach and strong written and oral communication skills
Strong product and technical knowledge
Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
Life and Health license required

The salary for this position is $88,000-$115,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location
For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with the local Fair Chance ordinances.
