We are looking for a Senior Legal Operations Analyst based in Chicago or Remote
Your Team
The Legal Operations Team is instrumental in driving operational change and optimizing legal operations globally to increase employee engagement and efficiency.
The Impact You Will Have
The Senior Legal Operations Analyst will report to the AVP, Head of North America Legal Operations, and be responsible for managing and tracking US law and regulation changes for the business of insurance utilizing Wolters Kluwer OneSumX NILS Insource and CMP-Regulatory Change Management Module(s). You will also be responsible for inputting and tracking manual cases acquired outside of OSX (for other topics, as needed). In addition, you will submit product filings during peak periods and will act as support in implementing operational efficiencies in the Legal Department. This may include, but is not limited to, new software and technology solutions, processes, and reporting. You will assist in compiling and analyzing data for monthly report maintenance and creation. You will be responsible for other duties and tasks as assigned, which may include legal analyst support and special projects as needed.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include
Participating in overall NA Legal department operational strategy execution.
Managing and tracking US insurance law and regulation changes utilizing Wolters Kluwer OneSumX (OSX) NILS Insource and CMP-Regulatory Change Management Module(s).
Inputting and tracking manual cases acquired outside of OSX (for other topics, as needed).
Compiling and analyzing data and information to create strategic reports and presentations, along with other regular and ad hoc departmental reporting needs/requests.
Providing support to US State Affairs team with product filings during peak periods.
Serving as backup for GCO Mailbox, NDA Mailbox, CT Corp, Legal Tracker and Legal X, among other legal/litigation matters, as needed.
Participate in other projects and duties as required.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
A minimum of 7 years of Legal Department experience in the insurance industry;
Strong US Legal and Regulatory knowledge;
Excellent project and process Management experience including automation/technological implementations;
Product filings experience;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Experience creating strategic reports and presentations (e.g., metrics reports, ad hoc reports, etc.);
Experience with Wolters Kluwer OSX knowledge and process;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Ability to build and foster relationships across the organization;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
Bachelor’s degree.
The annualized base pay range for this role is $74,455 – $116,945. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
